Un detective del dipartimento di polizia di Los Angeles, dopo
la misteriosa scomparsa della moglie, si ritrova a dover investigare su un caso di omicidio. Più le indagini
proseguono e più tutto il caso a cui sta lavorando si fa molto più complicato e assurdo, catapultandolo in una
realtà che mai e poi si era immaginata possibile. Le ricerche lo porteranno al seguito della “Qui
Reverti”: una società segreta il cui scopo è l'immortalità; obiettivo che raggiungono diventando ospiti
estranei ed indesiderati nei corpi di altre povere ed innocenti persone. Il detective Whelan si ritroverà così a
dover cercare la verità ad ogni costo pur di salvare sua moglie.
Lo show è basato sul libro omonimo di
Michael Marshall Smith, pubblicato nel 2007 ed è scritto e prodotto da Glen Morgan, noto soprattutto per le sue
collaborazioni con il regista James Wong, tra le quali vi sono X-Files, Millennium, Final Destination e Final
Destination 3.

A detective of the police department of Los Angeles, after the
mysterious disappearance of his wife, finds himself having to investigate a murder case. More investigations are
continuing and more all the case he's working becomes much more complicated and absurd, catapulting him into a reality
that never had imagined possible. The research will lead to the result of "Here Reverti", a secret society whose goal is
immortality; reach that goal by becoming unwanted guests and strangers in the bodies of other poor and innocent people.
The detective finds himself Whelan himself having to seek the truth at any cost in order to save his wife. 
The
show is based on the novel by Michael Marshall Smith, published in 2007 and is written and produced by Glen Morgan, best
known for his collaborations with director James Wong, among which there are X-Files, Millennium, Final Destination and
Final Destination 3.
